Hot water and comfortable bed, nothing else.
Washmashine or another engine worked all night at next room. Maybe not the very next but I couldn't sleep. Very thin walls, you can hear almost everything inside and outside the building.

+ Felt clean inside
- I didn't get the room I booked for and then they got me a family room but with increased price. BIG DISLIKE! - From my 2nd day visit in KL I paid 40 MYR more per night for a 4 stars hotel. - Rats running around outside the buidling

Location is very good with walking distance (2 minutes) to restaurants, pubs, clubs and also the Petronas Towers. Service is very friendly, room/bath was clean with aircondition and warm water (and window).
The first room shown to us was moulty (already visible and bad smelling). We were lucky that another room was available.

The place is very clean and well-located. The communal kitchen area is very cosy and offers some basic stuff for breakfast which can also be enjoyed at any other time. The staff is helpful and friendly. Communal areas are simple yet cosy. The place is nothing to complain about if you are a backpacker (and ready to pay the price) and do not expect to stay here a long time.
First of all do not be misled by the name - this is a hostel, not a guesthouse, so expect your room to be very basic and do not be surprised by a tiny bathroom with shower hanging above the toilet. It would be useful to have a couple of hooks in the bathroom as there is no place to put your clothes and towel. We fail to understand why the table in our room was a tiny IKEA folding desk hanging from the wall which was so wobbly it nearly crashed under the weight of the laptop. Hot water in the shower was lukewarm although the water heater was on. Internet was poor.

I prefer to stay at Sahabat Guesthouse just because this place near shopping center and Jalan Alor which has variety food. We were enjoying the tasty food there. We also just spent a few minutes to Sg. Wang Plaza, Berjaya Times Square....etc.

It's great value - combination of good location, pleasant staff, sufficient facilities, and most importantly cleanliness =]
There were some stains on the bathe towel, but I guess they can't be removed. And since my room was near the pantry, it's a little noisy in the morning (I woke up late that particular day).

Nice backpackers hotel, with basic room and private basic bathroom (with hot water shower). Common spaces are nice: there is a TV room, an inside terrace and an outside terrace. Location is very good, everything is on walking distance.
The room and bathroom have mold spots on the wall.

1. Kind staff 2. Clean 3. Good for the price
It takes about 15 minutes from KLCC and it costed me 65 MYR to and from KLCC. So I think it would have been better for me if I stay closer hotel which is nearer to KLCC paying 65 MYR more to hotel not to taxi driver.
